Ever thought- wow, I wish I knew how to build my own AI bot? Well, now you can! We created a step by step guide for how to make your own custom GPT.

1. Start the GPT Creation Process

Click "Create a GPT" to open the GPT creation interface—where all the magic happens!

2. Define Your GPT’s Purpose

Let's build a GPT specializing in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) to support accountants and auditors. To prompt the GPT Builder, enter:

"Create a GPT that is an expert in IFRS, helping accountants and auditors navigate financial statutory and regulatory reporting compliance."

3. Set a Name and Profile Picture

The GPT Builder will suggest a name and generate a profile image using DALLE-3. You’ll have the option to confirm or customize these details.

4. Configure Your GPT

Navigate to the "Configure" tab at the top. Here, you can edit default instructions and starter conversation examples to refine interactions.

Below this section, you'll find "Knowledge", where you can upload reference files. Let’s add a 150-page PDF on IFRS-17 Insurance Contracts to enhance GPT’s accuracy.

5. Publish Your GPT

Once everything is set, click the Create in the top-right corner to publish your custom GPT.
