Buildkin Launches as a Family of 100% Employee-Owned Technology Companies, With a Goal of Creating 100 Employee Millionaires
Press Release: 10.05.26
HADLEY, Mass.,
October, 5, 2026
Buildkin today announced its launch as a family of four technology companies, each 100% owned by its employees. The family is led by CEO Delcie Bean and includes:
Paragus Strategic IT, a managed IT provider serving Western and Central Massachusetts and beyond
WEBIT Services, a Chicagoland managed IT provider founded in 1996
Upstream Impact, a custom software development company
AITF, an AI transformation firm
Buildkin's mission is to create 100 employee millionaires. Paragus, which became 100% employee-owned in 2024, is the model for the family: the people who do the work own the companies they build.
Buildkin plans to reach that goal in three ways:
Delivering the best possible experience to customers. Each company keeps its own brand, team and leadership. Shared executive leadership and resources across the family stand behind each one.
Investing in the communities it serves. Paragus helped found Tech Foundry, a nonprofit that helps people from underrepresented communities build careers in IT. Paragus also partners with Springfield Technical Community College and Bay Path University. In Chicagoland, WEBIT supports organizations including Loaves & Fishes, Shelter, Inc. and the Kenneth Young Center.
Giving founders a path to succession. Business owners planning their exit can hand the company to their team, keep its name, and make their employees its owners.
“When the people doing the work own the business, they care for customers like owners, because they are,” said Delcie Bean, CEO of Buildkin. “Our goal is 100 employee millionaires, and we'll get there by serving our customers and our communities well.”
