People and Operations Specialist
A Western Mass local, Avery Battles danced her way through Pioneer Valley Performing Arts High School, Boston Conservatory, and Cal State Fullerton before switching gears to the HR world. After running a brewery and teaching dance and gymnastics, she found Paragus—a place where adaptability, people skills, and high-energy environments are a perfect fit. Outside of work, she’s usually hanging out with her husband and their dogs, hitting Tree House Brewery, or working with local rescues to find forever families for homeless pups (shout out to Better Together Dog Rescue
Fleet Coordinator
Originally from São Paulo, Brazil, Gabriel has always had a passion for motion—literally. Before joining Paragus, he worked in transportation logistics and now keeps things rolling as Fleet Coordinator. He’s happiest behind the wheel or in the pool, and he balances his drive with discipline, thanks to regular gym time and an endless love of swimming. A cat person with a soft spot for the Hadley Food Bank, Gabriel’s favorite movie is Titanic and his late-night dream combo is popcorn and Coca-Cola.
Procurement Specialist
Justin came to Paragus looking to further his career in a place with a strong work culture. He runs on coffee and water at work, but he enjoys a spicy margarita after hours. Justin is a family man, dog lover, sports fan, and proud supporter of the Hitchcock Free Academy in Brimfield, MA.
Executive Assistant
Abby grew up in Amherst and earned her Psychology degree at Northeastern University before diving into the startup scene in San Francisco. Along the way, she lived in Telluride, Colorado; Juneau, Alaska; and Port St Lucie, Florida—and has driven across the country five times. At Paragus, she thrives at rolling with the demands of a fast-growing company. Outside of work, you’ll find her hiking with her better half, Jack the Bernedoodle, and tackling home renovation projects.
